JVC 36" TV problem

Our grandson had his playstation connected to our tv and was playing games. All of a sudden, we got the blue screen. Now the tv will not respond to the remote or the front panel controls. I can hold the remote menu button down for a long period of time and the menu will appear on the screen. I can go thru the menu, if I hold the up and down buttons down for a long period of time. It is the same if I try to turn tv off and on. There is no sound either. Someone please help.
