JVC AV-27BP3 Reset surround sound

I have a JVC AV-27BP3. The damaged remote control has gone missing. The surround sound was enabled using the remote. I want to disable it but the TV based settings do not have a surround sound function. How can I reset it without the remote.
Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
