I saw a similar post from 2004 on the forum but I'll post anyway. My tv just started dropping picture to a horizontal line. Bottom half of screen still has picture but in the middle the top half is in a small band across the screen. I am no tv tech but I like to tinker. Anyone have any ideas? I have taken the back off and cleaned as good as I can.
