KP-43T70 I have codes but now what? Can't Post

My KP-43T70 prjection TV turned off and is displaying a blinking code of four flashes. I have found that this means:

4 times, pauses and repeats Set turns off. Vertical failure (the horizontal could also cause this since the power for the vertical comes from the flyback)

Possibles:(Vertical failure) Vertical Output failure
IC001 damaged
No vertical drive from IC301
No vertical B+ from flyback
No horizontal drive

I have checked the one fuse I found and it looks good. There is no visible discoloration and the filiment looks in tack.

I would like to try and troubleshoot this myself. Before I call the repair man so I know what's going on. Any help would be appreciated. I am looking for a service manual and/or shematic for this model, as well as any and all advice and tips. The unit was made in 2000 and is used a few hours a day.

Thank you in advance for your time in reading and replying to my pleas for help!

Sounds like you already have a good start. Check the voltages on the VOUT IC. I would suspect either the IC or the B+ supply, or both.
