Re: [tulu] KV32S40 Sony Dead [In reply to] Can't Post

The continuous blink indicates that there is no reply from the jungle IC (data bus is busy), shorted to ground or held high or the IK video path is defective. It will take actual hands on trouble shooting to determine the exact cause. I would suspect a defective jungle IC but it is kind of expensive to replace just on a suspicion. You might want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/?r=10948674 for an opportunity to earn a free replacment for this set with a little effort on your part.

SmileHi,Tulu.

Most TVs Sony Red led blinking ,shows error codes.Exam:::If led blinks 2 times,HV holdown is on.

When blinks 4 times Failure Vert/Deflextion.And 5 times,White Balance/screen Control Adj/IC301

Most Failure problems that I have found are,CRT leaky/Vert IC intermittented/Oscillator pulse missing.

Good Luck,

Hect.

Remember,work safetly ,
