LG 32LE5300 problem with Vertical bands on right half of screen!

I have a 9 year old LG 32LE5300 1080i TV that has developed equal vertical bands of color distortion on the right half of the screen.
I purchased a T-Con board repair kit online and replaced a chip but the problem is still there.
Are there any TV repair experts out there that can point me in the right direction?
