Hey,
I have an issue with my moms LG Plasma, this is what happens:
If you turn it on, there's a distinct relais click. The red status LED in the front turns green and starts to flash. After the second blink the relais clicks again and the TV seems to shuts itself down. The LED blinks 2 more times before it goes to constant green for 1,5 to 2 seconds before it goes back to red again.
I have already read through more than a handful of sources and the general consensus seems to be that the issue is caused by a defective Y-SUS board. Infact, once I disconnect the Y-SUS from the power supply board, the TV powers up nicely (and stays on).
So I ordered a new (well, actually used, but guaranteed to be fully working) Y-SUS board from ebay and replaced the old one. Unfortunately the same thing happens again and the TV still doesn't power on.
Does any of you have an idea of what else could cause the fault? I have a money-back guarantee for the Y-SUS I bought from ebay ... so I'd like to save a couple of bucks, if the original board turns out to be functional.
