LG 42lb650v, intermittent black screen, sound keeps working

Hi All, I am trying to repair a LG 42lb65 LCD TV for a friend. The TV has the following symptoms: after some time the screen turns black and sound keeps working. When rebooted the screen works fine for some time.
I saw on youtube that this model has only two PCBs: a main board and a power supply. Which one is more likely to be broken? The main board or the power supply?
