LG 47LW5600 horizontal lines only	Can't Post

My LG started showing horizontal line only (not vertical) - one or two,than the whole screen. I have repalced the T conn and main board - did not resovled. The only one left is the mother board (board with all the inputs). Would this be the problem? any other advise / solution would be appreciated.

"IMPORTANT: Horizontal lines on the screen are virtually NEVER caused by a bad T-con board. Horizontal lines indicate a defective LCD panel (screen)."

Replace the 'defective LCD panel (screen),' if and/or when you find one that's not cost prohibitive.

Just wanted to confirm that is it the LCD screen (itself). The initial screen comes up (LG rotating logo) and sometimes I can even watch TV on it - typically no more than 5 -15 minutes - than the horizontal lines come. If I turn it off and back on, it still has lines. If I unplug it for 5 minutes and than plug it back in, the the picture is fine again (for 5 min. or so).
Is this still symptoms of a bad screen? Thanks

Thanks for the info. and the web site. I did repalce the T-conn and main board already (it did not fix the problem). The board with the inputs is the only one left that I have not replaced, but based on what you said, this is not the issue. It is bad screen or bad connection between the screen and main board. I will look at the screen connections one more time and if I can't find the problem, it looks like this is going in the trash (recycle bin). Would you agree?

MAIN BOARD = 'the board with the inputs.' They are one and the same.

OK - main board = board with inputs
I replaced the T-conn and mother board than and still have the problem.
Will replacing the main board solve the issue or is it a bad screen (as you mentioned earlier)?
