LG 60 plasma no power due to HDMI surge

I had a bunch of equipment connected to a 2x4 hdmi switch. Everything connected blew out. Several HDMI cables burned up. Obvious from looking at the burn marks in my vizio & hdmi switch.
Anyway, the LG, LG60PG60, will not power on. No evidence of burn marks around the HDMI connector like mentioned above. My question is do you think it's worth the gamble to try to find and replace the control board on this 10/12 year old tv?
