LG Hidden Menus	Can't Post

If I am in the wrong area please excuse my inexperience.I have an LG TV 32LD490-ZB and need to get into the hidden menus to check a few things(debug status etc). Can anyone please provide me the method to do this, i have tried few methods from the web, ie holding tv OK and remote OK together this did not seem to work. Any help would be greatly apprecaited

thank for the prompt reply, i have downloaded the manual but all indications are that the suggestions use the service rc, which i don't have. There is apparently a way of accessing these menus by use of the tv standard rc and the switches on the set. Thank you very much for your help it is greatly appreciated
