LG MZ-42PZ44 PLASMA	Can't Post

HI i have a LG MZ-42PZ44 PLASMA tv there is no sound or picture the tv power light goes from red to orange then green then back to red (standby) i have replaced some capacitors that where looking swolen at the top on the power suply with the same caps ive heard that other caps can cause this problem does anyone no witch ones they are or have any other advise on this thanks peter

hi ive read on other forums that the flyback can cause this problem or caps near it
could some tell me where to find the flyback and what it is heres a pic of the insides of tv

no flyback in plasma tv's.fault probably in power supply but from experience I can tell you the spares situation from LG is almost non existent

hi i think ive found the board that is at fault when the plug at the botom of the board is turned off the tv starts up ad soon as i plug it back in the tv shuts down any ideas about how to fix this board? please look at picture

That is the X Sustain board. You don't fix that board, you replace it.

Same thing, In later versions of LG's they've gone to calling the Z Sustain board the X sustain. There are no schematics available for either the X or Y sustain boards because the manufacturers want you to replace them vs. repairing them due to the complexity of the board and the critical nature of how they drive the panel.
