LG Plasma Black fuzzy Can't Post

Hello, I purchased a used LG 50PX1D plasma, Everything seems to be ok except that when I change channels and the black screen comes up there seems to be a fuzz all over the screen, and also it appears on black colors when the picture is up on the screen? It does it on all inputs HDMI, regular cable, and DVD.

These things are repaired by replacing panels not by discrete components so you can not fix this yourself and need the LG agent. Most times when one panel faults it damages another. LG had a kit of panels at one time as they failed so fast. The danger in this repair is if you get it wrong and get the just one panel, it may fix your fault then fail in minuits. I would suspect this was sold because the price of repair was known. My advice is I think you have been taken, learn from that and dont add more money to your bad deal. Do not buy another plasma, Plasma are not efficient and if you believe in global warming, plasma is the least efficient and many countries are talking of banning their manufacture or sale. As such in a few years plasma may just be a lemon.

Also this tv has a "LOW POWER" mode and when I switch that to on, it seems to solve the problem but then the screens colors all fade and the the brightness of the tv is not as vibrant? Thanks for the reply.

you may have a problem where the sustain voltage is set wrong and causing sparkles on screen.there should be a label stuck to the back of the screen telling the voltage for that screen and on the power supply board is a control to adjust that sustain voltage and a pin to check its reading on the dege of the board. let tv warm up before you adjust.
