Magnavox 27" model# FS2750 A101 Can't Post

Magnavox
model #: FS2750 A101
chassis model #: 27E501-00AA

The problem is the image gets intermittently distorted like an unscrambled porno channel(you know what I'm talking about?); you can still make out figures but they are distorted. I've noticed when the image does stabilize, long enough for me to get a good look, the image is blown up; portions of the screen is offscreen. What could be wrong with this TV? Can someone link me to a service manual/guide for this particular set?

I subscribe to digital cable from Time Warner and have two separate boxes and TVs. Two nights ago the cable signal went out and the problem was noticed when the cable signal resumed. Initially, the two TVs showed the same problem but the newer one recovered and this 9 years old Magnavox TV is still the same. I thought maybe the cable had something to do with it. Is that possible?

Schematics for NAP sets are only available to authorized servicers. My recommendation is to hook a VCR or DVD player to an external video source. This will tell you if it's a tuner/cable problem or not.
