Magnavox TV has picture in Black and White only following a power surge in the house from Lightning. Anyone have any ideas of the cause?

Possibly wiped out your 3.58MHz oscillator but only a person with the appropriate test equipment can say for sure. You might want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/default.aspx?referer=7509165 for an opportunity to earn a free replacement for this set with a little effort on your part.
