Midgets on my TV since I dropped it. Help! Can't Post
Sharp 27" TV/VCR combo (25-VT H60)

Just got it home from getting the cable jack repaired. Then I pushed it out of the entertainment center. It dropped about 3.5'. It landed on the top edge and then on the glass. I sort of cushioned the blow. Sort of.

Everything still works just great! Except that everyone looks like a midget.

Symptoms:

1" black bar on bottom of picture

Lower middle seems condensed

Top 1/4 is stretched

Foreheads are elongated and torsos are shortened



I laughed out loud at first but now it's getting pretty old.

Can I just drop it again to fix it or do should I try something

intelligent? I saw some similiar posts about a blown ELDA thing but since this was caused by a crash I wouldn't think anything was blown.

Help.

sounds like there is a crack in the ckt board or the vert. ic or transistor is loose on the board try flexing the circut board to see if this fixes the problem, if it does then the search begins. good luck.
