Mitsubishi - S-Video, audio, OSD all work but black screen on CATV and RCA

I have a 27" Mitsubishi CS-2611R - I don't know its history because I recently received it for free.
When I plug my camcorder into the RCA video input or a broadcast/cable TV coax line into the CATV, there is no video. The audio is perfectly fine, I can change channels, and the OSD displays the proper information.
Oddly, S-Video displays perfectly fine from my camcorder, so the tube and flyback must still be in good shape. I would follow other advice but cannot find any posts where s-video was still functioning.
