first is it crt or a projector type.
if crt check for degausing ( i.e posistor )
also it may be a capacitor around the line-out-put stage( lineoutput transformer or lopty ) same thing.
capacitor can also cause this,
approx 20uf 400v something near, again to the lopty
good look
