Mitsubishi CK-3530R turn on problems	Can't Post

I have a Mitsubishi CK-3530R, 13 years old. Recent problem with turning it on. I must depress the on/off button either on TV remote, VCR remote, or the TV unit itself, about 20-30 times before the unit will stay on. Despite this, no other problems. I'd appreciate any imput before I call for an estimate. I was told from Pro-Video, where I purchased it that I was SOL.

Call someone else. This set is a B**** to work on and they probably just didn't want to be bothered (not that I blame them). There are two resistors in the voltage regulator circuit which change value and can cause this problem. I don't have their numbers handy but they are around 1.5 ohms and I think three watts. I replace them with 1.5 ohm 5 watt resistors. Almost anyone with any Mitsubishi experience should know exactly where to look. I'll see what I can find and post back if I can locate it.
