First I want to say, this site is GREAT!
I stumbled across it in my search to repair my TV, here is my story:
I have a Mitsubishi CS-27200
Manufactured in Oct 1984
It's a 27" TV
It started, about a month or two ago to give me lot's of static during the first 15-30 minutes of start up, then it works fine.
If I switch it to Aux input and play my DVD Player it's fine.
Static seems to be coming in on the Antenna input side.
I am assuming it may be some bad filter caps, maybe on the input line or power supply to that section but I don't have schematics. Reading here I see a lot of problems with a PIP board, don't know what tha is, if it's picture in picture the TV does not have that feature.
If someone can point me in the right direction, even if it's where I can find schmatics It would be great.
Any help in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.
