Mitsubishi CS-31AX1 Can't Post
My Mitsubishi has a problem with its Vertical output IC, i get a single white horizontal line across the screen, from what i've read, i need to check for cold solder points and re-solder, however my problem is i cannot locate the Vertical output IC, any help would be greatly appreciated.

On every Mitsi i have ever worked on it's IC401. I believe it's an LA8737 or 38. It is a single line 14 pin IC.

I cant find IC401, I found IC4E1, right around all of the Vertical adjusters and such, but its a 13 pin, would it be on the PIP board, or on one of the two Main Boards?

It is a 13 pin LA7837 IC which is mounted to a finned heat Sync on the main board adjacent to the vertical adjust pots. You might also want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/?r=10948674 for an opportunity to earn a free replacement for this set with a little effort on your part.

Main board to the left of the flyback ( big thingy with a large wire atached to the top of the CRT , on a heat sink just in front of these ajusting pots for width and such , possible part # LA7838

Hell Yeah!, i got it. Yeah, there was a hell of a lot of corrosion on the underside of the board, around several of the pins, cleaned that shit off, and resoldered one of the pins, and viola! its beautiful, thank all you guys for your help, i really appreciate it, but what the hell was that shit about free replacement, you just want me to help you get one, im not a fan of pseudo-chain mail kind of thing, but thanks anyway.
