Mitsubishi VS-4543 Blows F902 after shorting Q5A02 Can't Post

I suspect L5A02 is shorted holding the 130 VDC high when Q5A02 biases to ground. Problem is finding a L5A01 part number 351P138010. Rumor is this part is NLA. Does anybody known were I can get one? Since this is a 3 mh coil/choke, could I sub a 3.3 mh 200 V coil? Would .3 mh change the dynamics of the H-out to much?

If you're positive about the cause of the short, verify (with the schematic if possible) whether L5A02 is marked as a critical component. If so, an exact replacement is needed for safety reasons. If not I'd use the replacement, but I'd also use a Variac to control the voltage by bringing it up slowly, or a series light bulb across the fuse terminals to help determine if in fact the short is still present or not... good luck ..tell us how it goes.....Smile
