Mitsubishi rear projection convergence problem

My WS65611 would not turn on. I was getting error code 2. I replace the convergence IC and two pico fuses. It now turns on but the factory convergence is way off. It seems the I can use the remote to manually align the images but obliviously something is wrong. Are there other resistors that I should be checking or does it seem that I didn't install the new convergence IC correctly or possibly got a bad IC? Is there a way to test the convergence IC?
