I bought a used WD-65831. As part of it's shut down routine, the timer light blinks, then the lamp and timer alternate blinking green for a while, then just the timer and finally both would stop. Now, the timer NEVER stops blinking green...yet the tv powers on and works just fine.
Every other thread with a continuously blinking green light is for a tv that won't power on so I'm not sure what the problem is. It could have a generic bulb inside.
Update, if the tv is in "fast on", the timer led blinks forever. If you switch it to power save mode, it stops. Even though I'm answering my own question, I thought I would post in case someone else has the question, lol. I didn't intentionally switch it to "fast on" so only a determined investigation of settings revealed it.
