NEC Vertical Hold Problem Can't Post

I have a NEC 48 inch projection screen tv manufactured Jan 1990. The vertical hold has been slightly failing for a while now. When I turn on the tv the vertical hold rolls at first then settles down after a couple minutes. Lately it's started rolling fairly constantly. The vertical hold knob has a lot of play in it and looks like it may need to be replaced.. Where can I find this part?

TV Model: pj4850S (RW)
TV Serial: 30610688

Number next to the vertical hold on the circuit board: 720GVR3012

Thanks for any guidance you can offer.

Mike

You might have a problem getting parts for a set that old.
I would take the control apart and see if I could repair it.
You might try Fox @http://www.fox-international.com/electronics/contactus.asp

Mike
I re-read your initial post, and I originally thought it was a problem with the control, not the knob.
If it is just the knob, you should be able to shim it.
The opening should be shaped like a half-moon, and sometimes you can cut a small piece of tin and shim it.
