Need a green crt for RCA 52" projection television	Can't Post

I am looking for a green projection crt tube number H180BSB22 (G) for an RCA 52" model number P52750WKLGI and it is a 1993 model If anyone on the forum has one or know's where i can find one please let me know. Prefer a good used tube unless i can find a good price on a new one since I don't want to put that much money into it.

Not familiar with the make & model, but most tubes are the same- which means any of 3 could replace the faulty one. As to longevity of toobs- forget it!(They are run at extra hi EHT in futile attempt to get acceptable brite- so they don't last long!.).

Are you talking about the "red" replacing the green , or the "blue" replacing the green or another "green" replacing the green ???
IF you are talking about replacement CRTs in general , then that statement is an outright LIE !!!
In case you forgot , CRT basings ARE different & there ARE physical (mounting) differences etc as well....
Not only are you not familiar with his make & model , but you need a refresher course on CRT construction (physical) , Gun design & specs , operating voltages , basing connections etc......
IF you are not familiar with something , with all due respect , my advice would be "NO Comment"....

The answer was meant to tell the OP that a green tube for his set was the same as a red tube or blue tube. Yes i know tubes- I,ll bet I,ve swapped far more tubes successfully than you. In Op,s case it seems he can't get a r/p orig tube- so i said a tube from an equivalent set would fit if the same design, mountings, size- BUT could be different make!. Now I am not going to get into a slanging match with you- I just can,t be bothered!. Do you really think that the OP is a dummy who wouldn't know what I was saying?. In the electronics field I work in, the senior guy is usualy someone who not only has vast electronics experience, but also usualy someone who gives guidance and fatherly advice.

I have worked under 2 Engineers in the past 20 years.These men were not only absolutely brilliant in their electronics knowlege but world class,stand up,solid men.They would not only give you the answer,but take the time to explain it to you and help you understand it.They never "brow beat" or talked down to myself,or anyone else who they worked with on any project,no matter how important or how urgent of a deadline.It appears to me you have not been so lucky to work with people like that.

Before you trivialize my 2 mentors.I want to tell you both of them are probably far more successful than anyone you would ever know.One started the USA division of the company I work at and the other was a retired Electronics Proffesor for an Ivy league University in New England.I do not want to say what one,but it's a well respected and well know school.

I hope you can read this and take something from it.You do not have to knock people down to proove your knowledge.Be a man and let it stand for itself.If people do not respect you then so be it.

I took the time to write this because I feel you have the potential to be one of these guys...don't be so angry.Life is too short. Smile

HELLOOOOOOO! Any original parts , once used with the new or different model. the part nos changes but the specs still remains. i said this long time ago. no BUT'S as far as mounting size is concerned.
Accuracy counts for exact model, nobody expects nobody to be psychic unless your re-search capability are beyond accurate, that what's count the most. it seems, there is one individual here in hiding, and he's right!!!You just have to have the balls tweaking parts accordingly. Not necessarily by the book or part nos but by specs. Projection tubes don't last long, Replacing them doesn't bring back the original performance, no matter what or how.. they just don't! do you know why? Talent is what makes good engineering, you don't speak them openly.....LOL!

Come to think of it,this denonjapan guy is right.I have really not seen any of your help end in actualy repairing something.I was having trouble understanding his post cause of the obvious language barrier..but I think he's trying to say...

has any of these guy's called you and asked your input on how to design them?

A normal person like me only has to look at your avatar to realise you are a f#@$%K*&g complete & utter weirdo= not to mention psycho- and also that you get your "kicks" from belittling other people with FAR more experience than you. Fact- any tube can be used in any position in a projection tv. The colours may be incorrect- but so what- we are only interested in confirming operation of relevant sections ok in the 1st instance. tHE TOOBS USED in proj are run at x-ray voltage- is that where you lost your knackers?- & because of this toobs quickly go low emission- quick test is to sub tube to see if worth going further- usually not- but point is proved. Incidentally, down here in the toilet/sewer you kindly consigned me to, there are many plasma/lcd sets- boy- they stink!. I am getting out soon- and I am very confident that YOU- yes YOU Effwit- will be consigned here for eternity!!!.

I believe we are not dealing with a normal person here.Most people say things like...please..thank you...etc.

You know,manners that were taught to you as a child.

Instead he decides to shove his beliefs down your throat.If you do not listen,you are stupid,if you don't understand you are not qualified.

Most of his posts end saying either you are not qualified, so do not attempt to do it,or the problem goes unsolved.Either way he paints a picture of himself being knowledgeable.

He does know a thing or two about television..I will not take that away.However his people skills and troubleshooting technique are the worst I have ever seen.
