Newton 19" Tv problems Can't Post

Hello. I have a 19" Newton brand tv made in 1995 that has been exhibiting some problems. Lately I have noticed I have to hit the top to turn it on and off and hit the side for the channel to change. What could need replacing? Is it worth repairing? I thought this was very abnormal until someone said they have to hit theirs too!

If it works, just keep hitting it. Nothing abnormal about that (LoL). These symptoms are normally indicative of one or more bad solder joints. If you have any soldering skills, you can probably repair it yourself. Use a magnifying glass to inspect the solder joints and touch up any that look questionable.
