"No Sound" Toshsiba Rear Projection Can't Post

Hello, I have a Toshiba 65H93 rear projection television that has "No Sound". The tv starts up fine, and has a great picture. I would like to know how to fix this myself and where to get parts for it. If this isn't something that the average person can't fix... what will I likely have to spend in order to get this repaired?

Already Tried: So far I have done everything it says to try in the Manufacture's Manual. Everything works great on the television,...still just doesn't have any "Sound" coming out.

Any expert advise or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Make: Toshiba
Model: 65H93
Manufactures Date: August 2003

first connect the audio out sockets on the back (red/white) to the aux input on your stereo unit and see if there is any sound from these sockets.

Thanks "techchris" for your reply. I hooked it up just as you have said, my audio out sockets on the ( red/white ) connected to my home theater system aux input. Having done this "it does give me sound through my home theater system speakers". So my question now is what type of part do I need to replace inside the tv in order for the actual tv speakers to work again? Again "techchris" thank you for your insight. <br>

the fault is probably in audio output circuit. check voltage going to unit first.usually about 45volts + and - from powersupply. also may be an audio processor in a metal can on some models.have you checked on back for speaker off switch or in the on screen menu to switch off speakers?
