No sound on my TV Can't Post

I have a GE TV that is only a couple of years old. All of the sudden the sound stopped working. Is it worth taking it to a shop to get it fixed? Or should I just replace it?

First check the menu function and make sure that you didn't inadvertantly turn off the sound from the internal speakers. The age of the set makes it borderline as to whether cost of repairs are justified as opposed to a new set, but if it is under 25", probably not; if 32" or larger, probably yes. I would advise against buying another RCA or Zenith in the advent that you do decide to replace it . You might also want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/default.aspx?referer=7509165 for an opportunity to earn a free replacement for this set with a little effort on your part.
