PHILIPS 15TR1525	Can't Post

My screen is all scrambled.
Last repairs were done 2000 video transistor and capacitor were changed but i forget the problem that it had...

I understand this is an old tv. But i figured if its some cheap parts why not fix it!

I can not locate a service manual for that TV....
Only thing I can say with some degree of confidence is that it looks to me that you have a bad lytic cap in the power supply...

Just out of curiosity , does the black band move up or down or is it stationary ???
How is the sound ???
See if you can find a chassis number & post it...
Should be on the same label you got the model number from...
I may have better luck finding a manual with it....

yes i have sound and sounds fine. THe lines are vertical movement , That band that u see horizontal across the screen is what my camera was picking up...

Model # was on old receipt. i guess i would have to open it to get chassis # where am i lookin?

Does that black band slowly move up then reappear at the botton & start up again ????...

The model & chassis numbers should be on a white label on the back cover...

If not , it (the chassis number only) could be anywhere inside...
On the inside wall of the cabinet , on the chassis itself , or ???...

There's to horizontal band, my camera pickedup that nad the same way if you see someone using a pc when u watched the news. Same idea. I only have the vertical lines
