Panasonic CT-32SX31E Burnt out Can't Post

I hope someone can help me with this. I went to turn on my tv last night and as soon as I hit the power button I saw a flash of light from inside my tv on the left side of it. I would assume that something burnt out. Its still a fairly new TV. I would say its about 3 years old. I have called a technician and was told its about $230 to $250 to repair. This to me means that it is going to cost him about $50 to $100 to fix my TV. I would honestly much rather save the money and learn something new. Can anyone throw any troubleshooting tips my way or give me a few ideas as to what might be wrong that I could replace. Also does anyone know where on the web that I can find the parts that I will most likely need. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read my post.

Re: [sincityharley] Panasonic CT-32SX31E Burnt out [In reply to] Can't Post

ok so I read through a couple of posts and gathered a lil info on tv's just not working. I went to Home Depot and purchased a .75 cent fuse. I replaced the fuse which took all of 20 mintues. I turned my set on and it works good as new. I saved $224.25 WOW I am in the wrong business. Anyhow thanks for all the great posts.
