Panasonic CT - 27SL13G won't turn on. Can't Post
I have a panasonic CT-27SL13G that won't turn on. I brought it home from work when the owner just wanted to buy a new one. I read some other threads to see if I could fix it easy enough. I pulled out the old 6.3A/125v fuse but it stilled looked OK. I went to the closest ACE hardware but they were out of the 7A/125v fuse. So I went to Radio Shack and bought a 6.3A/250v slow-blow fuse (it's was the closest thing thet had). I installed it and the TV made the noise when they intially power up (that single click sound) but that was all I got. Nothing else after that. Any repeated attempts to reproduce the power up sound resulted in zilch. I haven't taken the back off the TV yet to see if the fuse blew but I thought I read somewhere that someone else tried a couple of fuses before it worked when it was a fuse issue.

Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I was kind of trying to avoid that, hence the posting and reading of forums. If I have to pay someone to fix it I might as well throw it away and buy a new one for roughly the same price, don't you think? Any other suggestions besides that?

I'll try to help you.

Please,I need this:

-Manufactured date.

-Chassis number.

-name of the most component like hot,IC regulator,Vert IC(IC number).

-If it is possible,take a picture(digital) to main board(close view),email it to me.
