Panasonic PV-M2035-- no sound

I did something while playing with the programming. I think it has to do with holding down the "clear" button long enough that a "limiter on" display came on. Now, whether by remote or the volume control on the tv, th esound won't go above 0. Panasonic's site doesn't go back this far on manuals so I am in your hands. How do I return the sound or remove the limiter if that is the problem?
