Panasonic TC-L55E50 - Flickering Vertical Lines & Periodic Freezing Images

Have an older 50” LCD TV that took a dump on us. For the last year or so there were faint horizontal lines seemingly emanating from the upper right corner of the panel. We were living with that because if you were more than 5ft away, you couldn’t see them. Well just the other day the thing went bonkers on us.
