Panasonic TV VCR wont turn on	Can't Post

Hello Everyone

I'm having a problem with my tvvcr
It wont turn on. When I try to turn it on it makes that noise like chshh. I guess its the tube. So its still trying to power up. the timer light blinks like its supposed to. I cant operate the vcr though.
I just want to know whats wrong with it if anyone can help and how much it might cost.

I have the same problem with my Quasar TV/VCR combo. All of a sudden, my VCR don't work and my tape is now stuck in the VCR.
Please HELP!!!

I have the same problem. I have Panasonic 27" TV (don't have exact model number on hand). The thing used to have a sleep timer which kept getting shorter (or longer) depending on how you see it. When the timer LED was lit, we could power on the TV. Eventually the timer got to a point, where the LED was never lit, and we couldn't power it on. We have removed the TV from power supply for several days and tried to power on, still no success.

Any suggestions or help please.

Alan,

Thank you for the response. I think your suggestion will work for the other 2 posts, in my case, there is no VCR on the TV, so I am not sure if the tape-stuck or cassette posts will work, please help.
