Panasonic TX-32WG25X - picture but no sound

So i had a Panasonic TX-32WG25X given to me and its approx 10 years old.
The picture is working however there is no sound coming from the TV speakers. It came with a subwoofer and sound is coming out of that.
I plugged headphones in and sound came out of them okay and the previous owners had speakers hooked up and the sound worked okay with them, just no sound from the TV speakers.
Anyone have any idea of what is wrong with it? I played around with all the settings on the remote but nothing worked. Also how much would it cost to get fixed?
