Parent code loccked and do not know code	Can't Post

I bought a demo Panasonic TH-47PA20U and the V-chip parent code has been set and I do not know the code. Is there a default code or any way to reset to factory default. Any help is greatly appriciated.

The parent code is 4 digits. I have tried 0000 and most other simple guesses.

HELP!!!!!!

Try 1234 to unlock TV.If not,Owner's manual is needed,there you will find information how to unlock unit.

There is in the back of set,a toll free call,in most sets,by calling for help.

Thanks for the responce but:

I have tried 1234

I have called panasonic

I have read the manual

None of them were a solution.

Any other ideas. Is the a master reset in the service mode?

You got the right tools to solved your problem,nothing to do in the service menu.

On some newer models this may work. On standby, press both the power and action buttons on the set. It should come up with ROM VERSIOM, etc. Then power the set off. This should reset ant customer settings. Hope it works because that is all of the info that I could find.
