Philips 40PFL4707 - Philips logo at start and boot loop

Hello
I have a philips 40PFL4707. If it turn it on and keep it that way, it even works for 12 hours non stop.
However, if I power on, then immediately turn off by remote and again turn on, it shows the philips logo at start and then turns off. Does not respond to remote or even pressing the power button at the back panel.
I have to turn off mains supply, wait about 1 min ( after 1 min, i hear a feeble click sound near the pcb) and then the TV properly turns on.
Is this a firmware issue ? Philips support page has no updates. Or is it a main board issue ? what should be next debugging step ?
