Philips Hotel TV Setup Can't Post

I have just taken over a small lodge with 7 Philips / Magnavox Hotel TV's.

Our programing line up just changed so I used my RC2573GR to Auto Program the available channels.

Four of the 7 worked just fine after reprogramming.
Three of the sets Model OCV723 go into setup mode and correctly identify all of the channels in the new line up.
After the TV's are powered off and back on they go back to the OLD programing, including the old barker channel.

Any thoughts out there?

Re: [gpenzenik] Philips Hotel TV Setup [In reply to] Can't Post

Hotel sets require a master remote to prevent guests from messing with the programming and these master remotes are not easy to come by. Check with uour local authorized Philips repair shop. They may have one but I doubt it

Re: [mel] Philips Hotel TV Setup [In reply to] Can't Post

Mel,

I have a Master Setup Remote and have re-programed the TV's, but the changes don't stay.

I'm also unable to change from Commercial Mode to Consumer Mode, even after entering the Magic Number.

After PO/PO, the old programmed channels come back.

I just may have to pop the back off and remove any add-in cards that are present.

The TV's Model number OCV723 support SmartLoader and may also be TCP/IP enabled via NET01 Card.
