Phillips Magnavox Big Screen	Can't Post

Im having this problem with my tv for a long time. the color is off, there is some discoloration. ive tried to adjust the color from the menu but it doesn't seem to do much. we got this tv in i think 98, so it maybe a little old. but i was wondering if it needed a new color light but i have no idea.

sounds like the glycol fluid or coolant in the crt needs changing the blue tube is usually the worst but the green may need it to. It can be a very messy job and you do not want any of the fluid to get on the boards if you know how to converge the tv the easiest way to change the fluid is to remove the crt drain it and refil it you must disasemble the lens and and cleen the inside of it out also
