Phillips Matchline Model No 28CL6770/25Z Can't Post

Ok this baby is bugging the hell out of me.
First it's dead, wont come out of standby and needed a TDA3654Q (part 7450 on the board) to bring it back to life.
Next we have a 100% quality picture and sound for 10-15 minutes and then the righthand side of the screen starts to move, it's like a mercury blob moving in from the side, slowly moving in and out but getting bigger all the time, after it has moved in some 20 or 30mm it shuts down into standby, sometimes wont start up,others fine but same happens again.
Spraying the area with freeze spray cures the problem for a while but it comes back.My original thought was a capacitor was overheating because when I sprayed it all was well but when I replaced it with a new one it made no difference(1500uf 35v)The problem appears to be around the sync side of the board.
The board is a FL1.10 chassis
Any ideas please
Thanks
Shaokahn

Changed Horizontal Output Transistor plus a handful of capacitors around the sync side and still the same.

Any one of the Philips gurus fancy a stab at this one?Frown

I did repair the Television and it has worked perfect ever since
I replaced the horizontal output transistor and both high voltage capacitors either side of the output transistor.I used better quality capacitors that could handle higher voltages than those fitted
I also replaced most capacitors and resistors on the output stage as they are cheap to buy, are better quality replacements since the television was first built and easy to do whilst the board is out.
I wanted peace of mind that all was well, and so I replaced what I considered as tired old parts with the view that it wouldn't need my attention again. The whole repair time took about 20 minutes to solder in the new parts.
Not had the back off it since and the picture quality is still as good as new
