Phillips Sound no Picture!!	Can't Post

I have a Phillips 25" television made around 2001. Recently the picture went out and replaced with three red, green and blue horizontal lines across the middle of the screen. And the sound still works. Any ideas on the fix would be appreciated. I am new to DIY tv repair.thanks.

One would question your explanation, three red, three blue and three green lines is an odd fault, One of each would be a vertical failure, being a Philips I would suspect a faulty connection to the yoke as it has not entered protect mode.
