Hi I have a Samsung sps4243x/xaa plasma tv manufactured in 2006. This tv has barely been used as it has developed the issues after one year of use and has sat since, so I would love to save it.
When you first turn it on, the picture is beautiful. Within a few seconds, a few chunks of the screen develop vertical flashing red white and blue lines. Over the span of 10 minutes, the rest of the screen developed these lines, until the entire screen is covered with vertical flashing lines.
However, you can still see the picture or show behind the lines. But if you pull the menu up, the menu is on top of the lines, so the menu is not affected, if that has anything to do with it
It does this on every input, I have tried cable, HDMI, and av front and back.
I am providing links to videos that I filmed which show the progression of the symptoms when you turn the TV on. Please watch them, and try and tell me which Board needs to be replaced. I know how to replace Parts, but I don't know how to diagnose. Your help is much appreciated
