Problem with 42 inch Philips Plasma TV Can't Post

Hi! My 4 year old Philips 42 inch Plasma TV recently switched off by itself while we were watching a TV program. The ON/OFF power LED remains flashing / blinking red after that. I had to switch off the mains in order to get TV power up again but only for a few seconds before picture dissapeared again and power LED started blinking. The only way to get picture remain on and working properly is to reduce the brightness level of the plasma to 10% (compared to previous setting of 95%). When I start to increase the brightness level from 10%, the TV switches off again and the flashing power LED starts blinking again! Can anyone advise what I can do? Thanks!

Possibly a bad Power supply board.
