Problems with Zenith combo TVBR1942Z Can't Post

I have a 19 inch Zenith combo television up at my college dorm. When I hook it up to the cable cord, it gets channels that are completely different from what everyone else gets. For example, channel 4 will be Fox for me, but NBC for others. Not only that, but the reception gets progressively worse until I get up to channel 29 when it's complete static. Can anyone PLEASE help?

I agree- sounds like the tuner is screwed-up.
Have you tried to auto-tune it?

I guess it is actually called "auto scan" From the remote control, one of the options should be auto scan, or a name like that. The option should be right after the type of RF input (antenna or CATV). What it does is look at each channel for video and stores the ones where it sees video. You might want to unplug the set for about 5 minutes before you try it.
