Proscan 40LD45Q 40" LCD TV Help Needed! Can't Post

I have a Proscan 40LD45Q 40" LCD TV that turns on for a couple of seconds with a picture, then the left 1/4,or so of the screen goes darker then the rest of the screen for a split second before the TV turns off.I thought maybe a bad bulb,or inverter, but from what I can tell from the back, the bulbs run left to right, and not up,and down.I tried another "working" inverter, but it does the same thing. The original inverter had a few 9100 resistors that burned out above the single coil on the right side of the inverter board T871034.02 1 Also, there is a cable with a connector, and wires like what is usually on ends of the backlight wiring. It goes from the power supply to the inverter What is this for?To boost the power to the inverter?Any help is greatly appreciated.Thank You very much!
