Proscan plded4616-uk - lines on screen Can't Post

Hello all, great community here, very thankful for the support and advice, been a lurker up until now.

Issue I am experiencing is with a 46" Proscan TV, it turns on, shows the proscan splash screen then powers off and back on again to the splash screen. Stuck in this loop.

No obvious issues with mainboard, I did very little in the way of diagnosing the problem. I bought a replacement board of ebay, after fitting it the TV now powers on and gets past the splash screen.

The issue now is that white areas of the screen appear to have lines going through them, this also affects the Proscreen splash screen logo which is white, this was not happening with the old board, the logo appeared ok and smooth.

If it helps shapes also appear jagged and edges of things are not smooth, difficult to describe really.

I hooked up VGA from a PC and this source was also affected with the white problem, this issue also affects the TV settings menu.

Any suggestions? I still have the old board, tempted to swap it back to see if the Proscan logo displays ok again just to make sure I didn't damage anything else when putting the TV back together.

Since this is a LED/LCD TV , I have limited help for you...
I do not have much experience with those types of TVs , but , I have 50+ years of analog TV experience...

From what you say , I think you got a defective replacement board...
The way to prove that out is to put the original board back in & see if the issues you got from the replacement board are gone...
IF the Proscan logo displays ok again, the replacement IS BAD !!!

Good Luck...
