How sure can we be that the problem is only with the crt board? I ask because getting a replacement board wouldn't be out of the question.
Well , let's put it this way...
It's either the board ( I really suspect the IC on that board is the problem.) or what drives it....
Why don't you try & change the IC first...
2 reasons;
#1=It will be cheaper & easier to do....
#2=It should be easier to find the IC online rather than the CRT board...
IF you decide to go the IC route:...
You will need "solder wick" & the number that's on the top of the IC....
Give me (post) the # here & I'll see where you can get it & how much it'll cost....OK....
