I have two of these in the storage room and both have a bad flyback transformer which makes the cost of repair more than the set is worth. Yours could be something as simple as a blown fuse but there is usually something more seriously wrong which caused the fuse to blow. With the price of 13" sets so low nowadays, it is simply cheaper to replace them.
