RCA 36" TwinTunerPIP - audio and menu overlay, but no video

In the middle of a show, the TV decided to blank out.
It's an RCA 36" Twin Tuner PIP from around 1996 - model f36676et.
The TV screened greyed out and a message came at the top left about channel block. I turned the TV off and then back on. Audio worked, but screen remained black. The channel messages all come onscreen when I'm changing channels, using either tuner and PIP. The menu displays just fine. Closed captioning comes up onscreen when I mute the sound. Everything BUT the TV IMAGE shows up just fine. The same thing happens when I use either of the video inputs. Nothing but black screen.
Any ideas?
I have checked out the Parental Controls section and Channel Blocking is set to off. I even went in and put all the channels and video inputs on the Parental approval list, just in case.
